It is a big honor for me to work with the same family twice. First, I was the photographer for Novi’s wedding. Because of that, I was so happy when her sister Vivi called me. She asked me to photograph her wedding to Agus. Since I knew the family, the day felt like a reunion. Here is their story.
Morning Traditions and Faith
The day started early with Chinese-Indonesian customs. Specifically, we captured the Temu Manten and the Makan Ronde. These rituals are full of meaning. As a result, the photos show real emotions.
Next, we moved to the Pay Teh (Tea Ceremony). This was a sweet moment to honor their parents. Following that, the couple held a Buddhist ceremony. This part of the day was very calm. Indeed, it was a peaceful way for Agus and Vivi to start their life together.
A Garden Party in Tuban
Afterward, we went to the gardens at Holiday Inn Resort Baruna. This venue in Tuban is beautiful. Although the morning was quiet, the party was full of life. Friends and family came to celebrate.
In addition, the team from 7 Magic came from Jakarta to help. They kept everything on time. Meanwhile, Vivi looked amazing. Her dress and makeup were both by LuxeBride.
Fire Dance and Fun
Finally, the sun went down and the real fun began. The night ended with a great fire dance. Truly, it was a perfect way to finish a day of love.
