This story from honeymoon photoshoot at Melasti Beach Bali. Melasti is one of the best beach in Bali for doing photoshoot. We always advice our client to choose this beach if they want to do a beach photoshoot. Cause this beach is huge and have some spots to take pictures like cliff, and Bali architecture.
My clients this time are Janice and Shawn. They are from Malaysia. They came to Bali for their honeymoon and wanted to do a photoshoot on the beach in Bali.
One Location for All
Because they want to do a photoshoot on the beach with a long duration of 4 hours, I suggest Melasti Beach. They also prepared 2 different outfits. So with these 2 concepts I have plenty of time to explore. The first spot is the iconic spot of Melasti beach, which is a road flanked by twin cliffs.
After exploring several shots on the twin cliffs, I also tried a spot that was rarely used for photoshoots at that time, namely from the top of the cliff showing the beauty of the beach below.
This place is a bit difficult to reach if the bride is wearing a dress. But with the help of her husband, Janice was able to get there safely. I am also very happy to see this couple helping each other. Don’t forget to capture this precious moment.
I also closed the first session by playing a vail gown on the beach.
Second Session
In this second session, bride change the dress with more casual looks. So we plan to take picture close to the beach start from platform with white rocks.
Then we moved to open land with a white cliff background. At that time, Melasti Beach was in a very massive development.
The last but not least, beach time
We finish till sunset. after all goes dark, we take the last shoot bask to the cliff and here is some results
